Public Notice of Herbicide Program

To maintain environmental quality and public health and safety, the Macomb County Department of Roads and various
local governments, working with the Lake St. Clair Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, will be treating the
invasive plant Phragmites and Japanese knotweeds in ditches along major roads, and the Macomb Orchard Trail between September 9 – October 31, 2022. There is a form for residents to request a No Treatment Zone Permit which must be filed before September 9th. Please click on the references below for more information.
