CLERK OFFICE OPEN
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF RAY TOWNSHIP IN THE NEW HAVEN SCHOOL DISTRICT:
The Township Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for the deadline for requesting an absentee voter ballot by mail.
NEW HAVEN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS:
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in New Haven Community Schools, Macomb County, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy to exceed 1.2 mills ($1.20 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 10 years, 2017 to 2026, inclusive, to create a sinking fund for the construction or repair of school buildings, for school security improvements, for the acquisition or upgrading of technology and all other purposes authorized by law; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2017 is approximately $695,531?
Persons qualified to vote by absentee ballot in the special election may vote in person in the Clerk’s office up to 4:00 p.m., May 1, 2017.
