Below are the upcoming events we have planned. Please stop by the Township Office to register. ALL EVENTS BELOW REQUIRE PREREGISTRATION. Payment is required at the time of registration. Senior trips are non-refundable unless cancelled by the Township.

MYSTERY LUNCHES

September 11th, September 25th, October 9th (Trips are full)

October 23rd, November 6th and 20th (limited space available)

We will enjoy lunch at a surprise location. The cost is $2.oo and you pay for whatever you order for lunch. Space is limited to 12 participants.

Guardian Tour - September 29th departing at 10:00 am - Trip is Full

Experience one of the most stunning art-deco skyscrapers in the world with a guided walking tour of the Guardian Building in Detroit. After our tour we will have lunch at The Firebird Tavern. Cost is $17 and you pay for your lunch.

MGM CASINO - October 16th departing at 9:30 am - Trip is Full

Test your luck for the day at the casino. Bus departs at 9:30 a.m. and returns by 4:00 p.m. Cost for transportation is $10.

PARADE COMPANY TOUR AND LUNCH AT BUDDY'S PIZZA IN DETROIT - November 13th departing at 10:45 am - Trip is Full

Experience a behind-the-scenes look at America's Thanksgiving Day Parade followed by lunch at the iconic Buddy's in Detroit. Cost is $15 and you pay for your lunch.

White Horse Inn and Holiday Lights - December 18th departing at 3:00 pm - Trip is Full

We will enjoy dinner at the White Horse Inn in Metamora and view the Magic of Holiday Lights at Pine Knob. Cost is $15 and you pay for your dinner.

WE WILL HAVE A SENIOR SOCIAL AND BINGO IN OUR SENIOR CENTER EVERY TUESDAY AT 11:00 AM. COME AND JOIN US!

* Free blood pressure checks on September 2nd, October 7th, and November 18th.

THERE WILL NOT BE SENIOR SOCIAL AND BINGO ON SEPTEMBER 16th, NOVEMBER 4th and 11th.

EXERCISE CLASSES

Get moving with in-person instruction that is aligned with the needs of participants.
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am - 10:30am

SENIOR EXERCISE CLASS IS CANCELLED ON SEPTEMBER 11th, NOVEMBER 4th, 11th and 27th.

The Senior Center is generally available Monday and Wednesday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Thursday 10:45 am - 4:30 pm for any senior groups that would like to gather to play cards, games, do crafts, or other social activities. Please feel free to enjoy this air-conditioned space. Call the office at 586-749-5171 ext. 204 to confirm availability.
