Mystery Lunch- Where Lunch is Always An Adventure

Thursday, April 25th


Join us for Lunch....destination is unknown but that's the fun of it.  The bus departs at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $2.00, registration is required and seats are limited.  Each month is a new destination, next trip is March 21st.


Tea Party

Bring your favorite teacup and enjoy tea and refreshments with your neighbors.  The party is Thursday, May 16th at 11:30 a.m.  This is a free event.




Fire Keepers Casino Outing

Thursday, May 30th, bus departs at 8;30 a.m.  The $ 30.00 fee includes:  $15.00 in coin. Space is limited so please sign up early so you have a spot on the bus.  This trip is non-refundable.


Mackinac Island Lilac Festival          

Enjoy the day on Mackinac Island for the 70th Annual Lilac Festival

When :  Thursday, June 13th

Where :  Mackinac Island

Time:   5:30 a.m.  Bus will depart Ray Township promptly at 5:30 a.m.

Fee :  $  55.00 per person.  Fee includes Bus Trip, Ferry Ride to the Island and a Carriage Ride around the Island.

**Registration and payment are required ahead of time.  Space is limited and will fill quickly.  Sign up at the Township Office today.


Nature Cruise June 27th

This is a narrated cruise in Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair Flats in search of the geologic past of the St. Clair River Delta and the human stories that shaped the history of this unique area.

Cost is $ 27.00 and reservation by June 13th is required.  Departs at 9:30 a.m.












Take Me Out to the Ball Game

When:  Wednesday, June 26th, bus will be leaving at 9:30 a.m.

Where:  Jimmy Johns Field in Utica

Time:  Bus will leave at 9:30 a.m.

Game starts at 11:00 a.m. gates open at 10:00 a.m.  Registration is required.

Cost is $ 14.00 includes bus ride and ticket.

RAY DAY— JUNE 30, 2019 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Join us for a fantastic afternoon filled with fun for all ages.  Included in this fun event are music, games, raffles, Ray Fire Department and their car show, Michigan State Police, bingo, balloon making, a magic show, face painting, bounce houses, children’s games, crazy hair salon, a petting zoo (with a chance to feed the animals),  and if that was not enough, the little ones will be able to ride a pony, and the older kids will have a chance to ride a pony and an Arabian horse.  We will also have many vendors this year, and a watermelon eating contest.  The trackless train is back this year as well.







Free exercise classes are available from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every TUESDAY. This program is free to all Seniors and exercises are adjusted to your skill  level.

Senior Social Days at the Senior Center

Enjoy a potluck lunch and get to know your Ray Township neighbors.  Each week is a different theme and the first Tuesday of the month we have a birthday celebration.  At noon we play BINGO, there are prizes to win and good times to be had.  Participation in Bingo is not a requirement.


Senior Craft


Come on out to the Senior Center on June 5th at 10:00 a.m. and have fun paper crafting with Jan.  Please sign up by June 4th.  Any questions, please call the Senior Center (586) 749-3358.


Sit and Stitch

We have a great group of residents that knit, crochet and quit items for fun and projects to benefit others.  They meet the first Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m.  Please RSVP and refreshments are provided.
